It keeps a child's seatbelt on. It is possible for a child to stretch the seatbelt and climb out while the lock is in place. Some child like to undo their seatbelt and this device stops them from doing that. I need this product to keep a child safe while in a vehicle. I recommend this product

Check your buckle first!

In addition to having a very tight fit and being difficult to get on and off, unfortunately this did not fit the seatbelt buckle of my Toyota RAV4.

After purchasing, I realised my backseat buckles had a rubber sheath covering most of it. These covers were too long and couldn't push under or over the rubber.
